


An excursion to the "Seine-Maritime"
Shortly after the exit from Honfleur you can see and use the "Pont de Normandie". This remarkable and imposing construction spanning 2141 metre over the mouth of the Seine in esthetic beauty. The bridge leads you to Le Havre.
Le Havre is an architectural monument of the UNESCO. In 1944 the town was 90% destroyed and the famous architect August Perret reconstruced the town with the aim that the human being is the centre of his work. An example of a building, made from concrete in the style of the sixties is still to be seen and also one of the original flats.
From architecture to paintings is not far and you should not miss the museum Malraux. It is the second museum of France for impressionsm and abstract art.
