Promenades on the coast
30 minutes from the campsite Château Le Colombier, is the flower-coast with its costal resorts and endless beaches.
Deauville :
After a long walk on the famous "boardwalk" along the beach, you might head to the centre of the town with plenty of "Belle Epoche" villas and the many boutiques. A visit to the world renowned icecream parlour from Martine Lambert is extremly advisable. You will not regret it.
Trouville :
Less "chic" is this small fishing harbour, which is only separeted by a brigde from Deauville, with its small streets partially on hills and many bistros. Such as "Le Central" and "Les Vapeurs", were Parisiens, locals and the whole world is meeting to eat Mussels or grilled Sole.
Honfleur :
This enchanting little fishing harbour with the Sailing- and Motorboats has a special flair. Little streets, plenty of galeries, antique shops and Bistro's characterise this town. Not forgetting all the famous painters who have lived and worked here (Monet, Boudin, Sisley, Cézanne).
